TOUCHDOWN

No this is not a football update on a BCS Bowl. The "Lovitt Four" have touched down in Detroit and are waiting at the gate for the final leg of their journey home. The regional jet that will carry them to Kansas City is at the gate and will be loading in a few minutes.

I just talked by phone with John and heard a "happy little voice" in the background. I got a lump in my throat and felt a tear forming in the corner of my eye. It was a small preview of the reality that is soon to come.
